Project B20-VTEC complete........

This past week JRCivic built and installed my B20-VTEC motor [img]smile.gif[/img] The engine build went prety smooth except for a small blunder on JRCivic's part hehehe....... But I knew he would get it corrected asap. JRCivic put the motor together like it was nothing! I mean it's almost like he has memorized exactly how to build these things hehe. We finished up the install Friday afternoon with a few odds and ends to complete before we cranked her up. Saturday morning we fired her up and she ran pretty good for a freshly built motor! We took her for a test drive and got a generic fuel supply code (code 43). Jim thinks the code is caused from the B20 block not having a pvc system on it...... I beleive we have a short term fix for it right now. The only thing that really messed us up is that my 290cc Venom injectors didn't arrive in time [img]frown.gif[/img] ......(my fault). The motor has 331 miles on it right now.

I'll be going back up for some "Final" tuning in about 2 weeks or so to have the injectors installed and have my full-sweep gauge installed as well.

The pics include shots of Jim's "Domestic" 470+ hp camaro, the Aurora motor (red H22), Blackbird motor and Nighthawk motor (Yellow valve cover), an LS-VTEC motor Jim built (red integra), Jim's H22 swap in a white civic coupe!, my quaife lsd, z10 block girdle and the buildup of my B20-VTEC....

BTW, I played with the throttle just a tad bit last night and the car starts to pull pretty hard before the boost gauge gets 10 degrees of vacuum!!! This motor is going to be fun!
